The exhibition “M’ama non m’ama” at the Centro di Cultura La Medusa brings together 15 local and international female artists, showcasing paintings, sculptures, engravings, and installations. Held at the Ex Chiesetta dell’Annunziata from November 25 to December 10, it coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, offering a profound artistic and emotional journey that invites reflection on gender equality and the ongoing fight against gender violence.
The condition of women worldwide remains a pressing issue. Although progress has been made, much remains to be done. Discrimination persists across many sectors and regions, and women often bear the heaviest burdens—lacking personal freedoms, facing psychological and social pressures, and enduring widespread violence and abuse.
